The door features two racks that are ideal for butter and juice cartons. The refrigerator is equipped with thermoelectric exchange technology instead of compressor cooling. It is quieter than normal refrigerators, and has only a an occasional hum while operating.
The refrigerator's capacity is of 295 litres, with the fridge compartment having 209 litres and the bottom mounted freezer providing 89 litres of storage space. It's not frost-free and requires manual defrosting to ensure optimal performance. The drawer for chilled drinks is a nice touch and there's plenty of room in the crisper drawer for fresh vegetables and fruits.
We tested the refrigerator for energy efficiency, and it earned an A+ rating. This is the lowest energy efficiency that we've tested for, and is a good performance for an appliance at this price. It was also quite quiet and had a noise score of 42dB. It's a bit louder than some cheaper models, but it is far quieter than the earlier refrigerators we've tested, which produced quite a lot of noise when running.

Temperature stability was also good for a refrigerator that was this kind. The average temperature of the upper, middle and lower shelves was just a few degrees below the maximum. The salad drawer was more variable, oscillating between 5oC and just under freezing.
The fridge also requires manual defrosting from time time, but it's graded as A+ in energy efficiency. This makes it the most energy efficient fridge freezer in our Best Buy chart. It will help keep your electric bill at a minimum.
This is a great example of how Swan can provide stylish retro designs at very affordable costs.
